SUMMARY:All-One Jug Band Concert
DESCRIPTION:The All-One Band is a 5 member progressive jug band that played at and around the University of Maine 50 years ago. They are reuniting for a 50th reunion performance on August 8. Their music is an eclectic mix of mostly original tunes. Because one of its members\, Ned Lightner lived in Bayside\, several tunes make reference to local landmarks such as Bayside pier\, Rollies café\, and Sears Island. There is also a tribute to wildlife such as the Blackfly. The music is hard to define but there are country\, jazz\, and rock influences.\nGiven the date of the performance its likely to a hot band performance.\nA free event\, sponsored by Bayside Arts.
