DESCRIPTION:The DaPonte String Quartet\, nationally known for its innovative and interpretive approach to music for more than 40 years\, welcomes guest artists Marcus Thompson on viola and Scott Kluksdahl on cello in this evening of Brahms. The string sextets\, intricate\, emotional\, and lush\, are among the most beloved works in the chamber music repertoire. Members of the DSQ are Kirsten Monke on viola\, Myles Jordan on cello\, Lydia Forbes and Bayside resident Philipp Elssner\, both on violin.\nFree event. Donations are welcome.
