Old-Fashioned Maine Contradance

Co-sponsored by Belfast Flying Shoes, and called by Belfast’s Chrissy Fowler with live music by Bluebird (John Pranio, fiddle; Toki Oshima, guitar) If you don’t know what a contra dance is, think Virginia Reel without the hay bales. If you have never done it before, get ready for a lot of fun. It’s easy — and just to prove it, there will be a short session for beginners at 7 pm to learn the basic moves! Don’t worry, all of the experienced dancers will help you along!

Admission at the door $10 adults, $8 ages 13-20, $5 kids.
