Author, singer, and songwriter, Ward uses storytelling, puppets, live music, and projected images to animate his celebrated children’s book. In a charmed woodland on the Maine coast, Mr. Harenten, a timid snowshoe hare, dreams of throwing a grand picnic. He finds that planning, working with friends, and facing his fears leads to the most rollicking and celebratory picnic ever! Warm, magical, and ideal for ages 5-10.
